Competition win - Nonclassical Pioneers of Percussion

My piece Drawing won the Nonclassical Pioneers of Percussion Composition Competition, following its premiere by Tom Lee as part of Nonclassical's Pioneers of Percussion festival opening event, on Wednesday 6th November at The Macbeth in Hoxton, London.

Drawing was described as 'subtle and polished' in Bachtrack's review of the concert, written by Jonathan Russell. The review speaks of 'a certain visceral energy in the air' during the concert, which also included works by Tansy Davies, David Lang and Steve Martland.
